BOW, Wash. — Four people were hurt when a John Deere Compact Series Tractor and car collided in Bow Saturday night.
The State Patrol says 74-year-old Wayne Schneider of Bow rear-ended the tractor around 8 P.M., pushing it into the ditch on the right side of Ershig Road.
Schneider and his passenger were taken to the hospital, along with Renee Hetterly of Bow, who was driving the tractor, while one of her two passengers was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
A third person riding the tractor was arrested on an unrelated warrant.
Troopers say the crash was due to insufficient lighting on the tractor and Hetterly is facing charges of negligence.
