FERNDALE, Wash. — The Silver Reef Casino Resort is ready to partially re-open.

The casino on the Lummi Reservation will begin receiving guests Friday, May 22, at 8 a.m.

CEO Marty Sauvage says guests will be asked to wait in their cars and they’ll be contacted by cellphone when they can enter.

Everyone’s temperature will be checked before they enter, including workers.

They’ll be running at just 50% of capacity and seating has been reduced at slot machines, gaming tables, bars and restaurants.

The hotel will open in early June and the Spa and pool will be open at a later date.
