FERNDALE, Wash. – Alcoa Intalco plans to sound the Ferndale plant’s sirens Tuesday at 7 am during a safety drill.
A spokeswoman says a “hi-low alarm” will sound for 5 minutes followed by 1 minute of the “all clear alarm.”
She says the alarms are rather loud and apologizes for the inconvenience, but the drill is to ensure the safety of employees.
