SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. – Next week is Flood Awareness Week in Skagit County.
County Commissioners signed a proclamation on Monday, October 4th, in an effort to promote flood awareness and prepare for the upcoming winter season.
Commissioners want residents to be prepared with emergency kits and go-bags, access to emergency information, and to make a plan if they need to leave their homes during flooding.
