MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – Election officials in Skagit County are refuting a recent report sent to their office from county Republicans.

KING 5 reports that representatives from the “Skagit Voter Integrity Project” have been sending alleged voter fraud evidence to Skagit County Elections since September 2021.

Documents, spreadsheets, and emails sent from county Republicans highlighted over 3,000 voter registration “anomalies” within the county.

Those “anomalies” included claims that 43 dead people voted in recent elections.

Other voters were targeted for their citizenship status, military status, or mental competency.

Skagit County Auditor Sandy Perkins told KING 5 that the evidence submitted by county Republicans thus far has not uncovered any actual voter fraud.
