LYMAN, Wash. — The February 3rd flooding in Skagit County has been declared an emergency.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports the county Board of Commissioners decided to declare it Thursday in hopes it would expedite repairs.
Prevedell Road in Lyman has been closed indefinitely to all traffic and is the only way out for residents living in unincorporated Skagit County according to the city’s website.
Skagit is working on a bypass for residents, while the city is working on a permanent fix.
