SEDRO-WOOLLEY, Wash. — A Skagit County hit and run sent a Mount Vernon man to Harborview Friday afternoon.
State Troopers say James Howard was heading west on South Skagit Highway between Concrete and Sedro-Woolley at Fox Creek Lane when his Honda Accord was hit by a Chevy SUV that had crossed the center line.
Both vehicles, which were totaled, ended up in the ditch and the driver of the SUV fled on foot.
The State Patrol is investigating.
