SAUK PARK, Wash. — Skagit County has a bit of a strange, but important message: stop stealing our trees.
In a Tweet Thursday morning, Skagit County said they’ve already lost dozens of trees at Sauk Park and along the Cascade Trail.
They believe someone is bucking the trees, hauling them away and selling them for firewood.
The County says it’s working with the Sheriff’s Office, but they ask that anyone who sees something suspicious call 911.
