SKAGIT VALLEY, Wash. – The Skagit County Health Department is temporarily closing a COVID testing and vaccination site.
Officials said in a press release that staffing shortages have forced them to cancel all the Friday, January 14th, appointments at the Skagit County Fairgrounds.
Skagit County Public Health Director Jennifer Johnson said that many staff members either tested positive or were exposed to someone with COVID-19.
The site at the fairgrounds will reopen on Tuesday, January 18th.
