A 17-year-old Mount Vernon boy with warrants out of Skagit County was arrested over the weekend, trying to cross into Canada as a stowaway.
Canada Border Services Agency found the teen on a Greyhound bus and handed him over to the Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office after taking pot and a pipe from him.
His probation violation involved burglary and minor in possession of alcohol.
