MOUNT VERNON, Wash. — Skagit Valley College closed its campuses yesterday, but will resume classes online today.
Classes will continue in an online format through the rest of the quarter and campuses will stay closed through Sunday. All sporting events, concerts, dances, plays and information nights between March 12th and April 12th are cancelled.
Some of the college’s students and faculty members may have been exposed to the coronavirus.
The Skagit Valley Herald reports nine students and two faculty members from the Skagit Valley College CNA program have been working at Josephine Caring Community, the Stanwood nursing home where the virus was confirmed in a resident.
