SKAMANIA COUNTY, Wash. – A registered sex offender from Skamania County has been sentence to over 20 years in prison for producing child pornography.
51-year-old Steven Lee McBride pleaded guilty to the charges last August and had previously been convicted of molesting two children in Idaho.
He served time in prison for those 2007 charges and upon release registered as a sex offender before moving to Washington State.
US Attorney Tessa Gorman says the lengthy jail term is totally appropriate and McBride will be on lifetime supervised release following his prison term.
