BELLINGHAM, Wash. — Air quality in Whatcom County is still considered “unhealthy for sensitive groups” today with marine air steadily pushing smoke out of the area.
The National Weather Service says air will continue to improve in western Washington through Saturday, but they have bad news for Sunday.
A northeast flow of air is expected to come down from B.C. starting Sunday, bringing smoke and haze with it.
That’s forecasted to continue through Tuesday, but the weather service says models show a pretty strong push of marine air Tuesday night into Wednesday.
