SNOHOMISH, Wash. – An assisted living home in Snohomish was shut down after investigators said caregivers were administering drugs like Tylenol instead of the prescribed pain medications, such as morphine and OxyContin.

KIRO reports the Department of Social and Health Services found residents were denied pain medication they badly needed.

DSHS says the pain medications were delivered to Country Care, but were not administered and weren’t found.

The owner, Colleen Crawford, denies all allegations.
