BELLINGHAM, WA – (KGMI.com) Snow and freezing conditions are in the forecast for Whatcom County in the coming days.

The National Weather Service in Seattle says a cold airmass that is settling across Western Washington will increase chances for snow Thursday through Saturday.

Bellingham is forecast to receive up to two inches.

Possible flash freeze conditions are possible throughout Thursday and strong winds could result in freezing spray over nearby marine waters.

Forecasters say freezing temperatures and wind chill could bring potential lows down to -15 degrees in North Whatcom County Friday into Saturday.

A wind advisory and wind chill advisory are both in effect for Western Whatcom County from 4 pm Thursday through 7 am on Saturday.
