First hints of the winter weather to come in Mount Baker National Forest were visible Sunday, 9/28.

Views are at the Hannegan Pass campground area, roughly four miles into the back country from the end of Hannegan Pass Road off Mount Baker Highway.

Fire danger for the forest is back to low.

Ripe Huckleberries were still on the bushes at the high elevation of the campground.
