BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — Expect snow if you’re headed east.
The National Weather Service in Seattle has issued a winter storm warning for Washington’s Cascade mountains east of Bellingham and all the way to the southern part of the state.
Snow is expected to fall in those areas until early Wednesday.
Total snow accumulations of one to two feet are expected with three feet possible at higher elevations.
WSDOT says the storm could make travel very difficult to impossible with Snoqualmie Pass and Stevens Pass most likely being hit hard.
