The Seattle Sounders have added to their midfield finalizing a deal to acquire Calum Mallace from the Montreal Impact. According to soundersfc.com, Seattle traded away a 2019 fourth round MLS SuperDraft pick in the deal.
Mallace was in his sixth season with the Impact after being drafted by Montreal in the second round out of Marquette University in 2012. The 27-year-old has 80 career MLS appearances with one goal and six assists.
Seattle returns to the pitch with a home game Saturday at 1:00pm versus Sporting Kansas City.
