The Seattle Sounders played Mexico’s Club Necaxa to a 1-1 draw Saturday in an international friendly. A late goal by the Mexican side in the 90th minute, thwarted an opportunity for a Seattle win in front of the CenturyLink Field crowd.
Midfielder Alvaro Fernandez scored in the 83rd minute for Seattle. scored the equalizer for Necaxa.
The Sounders return to MLS action at CenturyLink Field on Friday versus the expansion club Atlanta United.
