The Seattle Sounders are out of the U.S. Open Cup. They lost in the Round of 16 to the San Jose Earthquakes on the road last night 2-1. Aaron Kovar had the goal for Seattle. The Sounders return to league play on the 4th of July visiting the Colorado Rapids. Seattle has a record of 5-6-7 in 8th place in the Western Conference. The Rapids come into the game in last place in the West with a record of 5-1-10.
