The Bissel Pet Foundation awarded $4000 to Burlington’s Saving Pets One at a Time (SPOT).
The funds will provide veterinary care to 30-40 pets with curable conditions, before they’re put up for adoption.
SPOT regularly receives cats and dogs that require additional medical care like dental, diagnostics, medications and other procedures.
With the award SPOT will be able to provide animals with much needed medical care and increase the likelihood of finding permanent homes, while promoting the humane treatment of animals.
