OLYMPIA, Wash. – Attorney General Bob Ferguson is urging any Washingtonians who think they were part of the recent T-Mobile data breach to protect their personal information.

The 2021 breach affected around two million T-Mobile customers in the Washington State.

If you think you were impacted, Ferguson says you should monitor you credit score, consider placing a freeze on you credit report, and sign up for fraud alerts.

In August 2021, T-Mobile reported that over 50 million people may have had their names, dates of birth, and social security and license numbers compromised.
