OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Washington Department of Health took action against two Whatcom County healthcare professionals and reinstated the credential of another.
The Washington Department of Health alleges Trisha Marie Whetter made more than 200 incorrect, missing, or inaccurate entries in drug records over about three months.
Charging papers state the alleged mishandling involved Percocet, fentanyl, oxycodone, and other strong drugs.
Her credential has been suspended.
The Nursing Commission charged licensed practical nurse Leslie Jean GesnerĀ with unprofessional conduct for failing to fulfill a probationary requirement to complete a refresher course after previously having her license revoked.
Gesner’s license has since expired.
And the Substance Use Disorder Professional Program entered an agreement with substance use disorder professional Kelly R. Frost that restricts him from treating female clients until he completes an ethics course, after which he would be placed on probation for at least three years.
Frost had sex with a client, according to charging documents.
