PUYALLUP, Wash. – The Washington State Fair is requiring everyone who attends to wear masks as Pierce County sees a rise of COVID-19 cases.

The order states that masks must be worn indoors and outdoors regardless of vaccination status.

Exceptions include when eating and drinking or when it is essential to communicate with someone hard of hearing.

The fair in Puyallup opens on Friday, September 3rd, and runs through the 26th.
