OLYMPIA, Wash. — If the state legislature gets its way, yesterday would be the last time you would have to “spring forward.”
A bill to make daylight saving time permanent in Washington passed the House on a strong bipartisan vote on Saturday.
The Senate is also considering a similar bill.
Either measure would only take effect if U.S. Congress passes legislation allowing states to observe daylight saving time year-round.
