Washington State Ferries wants your help in naming the state’s newest ferry but please, no Boaty McBoat Face.
The service has narrowed the list down to six finalists:
Wishkah
Stillaguamish
Snoqualmie
Enie Marie
Stehekin
Muckleshoot
Three of the names are of state tribes, two are geographical names and Enie Marie was a granddaughter of Chief Seattle.
The new boat will be a 144-car, hybrid-electric Olympic Class ferry.
The service is taking public comment through November 30th.
