OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) – Negotiations over paid family leave continue in Olympia.
State lawmakers are in what amounts to ‘double overtime’ as they work on a two-year state budget.
Several family leave bills were introduced during the regular session, but none of them got floor votes.
However, negotiators say the two 30-day special sessions have allowed them to have productive meetings on the issue.
