OLYMPIA, Wash. — The state is loosening location restrictions on religious gatherings.

Governor Jay Inslee updated guidance that clarifies that religious and faith-based organizations can hold outdoor services with up to 200 people, regardless of location, so long as physical distancing is followed and face coverings are worn.

Services are no longer limited to the organization’s property or an immediately adjacent property.

Religious and faith-based organizations are also permitted to conduct remote and drive-in services.

Indoor services are allowed at a place of worship with up to 25% capacity or 200 people, whichever is less.
