BIRCH BAY, Wash. — People looking to go enjoy Tuesday’s sunshine have the perfect opportunity with a day of free parking at any Washington State Park.
Washington State Parks announced a “free day” for March 19 in celebration of their 106th birthday.
It’s the third of 12 state park free days in 2019 when visitors are not required to display a Discover Pass.
Local state parks include Deception Pass, Bay View, Larrabee, Birch Bay and Peace Arch.
We think we look pretty good for 106! If you think so too, join us for our birthday tomorrow and take a pic and tag it #WAStateParks or use the Share Your Story link at https://t.co/y2q7phcqZH. Its a parks free day so no need for a Discover Pass to park. https://t.co/QdahpsiqF3 pic.twitter.com/aq9P13aGyS
