OLYMPIA, Wash. — The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission has announced 2021 free days at state parks, and one is coming up this week.
Fees are waived at locations normally requiring a Discover pass for 12 days in the year to come, starting with this Friday, New Year’s Day, and also including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday, which this year falls on Monday, January 18th.
A few local state parks and boating program locations where Discover Pass fees are waived on these days include Birch Bay and Larrabee state parks, and the boat launch parking lot at Cain Lake.
