BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The State Patrol released a description of the car they believe was involved with the hit and run on I-5 near Samish Way Wednesday night that sent a Western Washington University student to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
Troopers and detectives are trying to locate a green 1990’s era Ford Escort or Mercury Tracer with damage to the front passenger side headlight area and the passenger side windshield.
Troopers responded to a 9-11 call about a man walking in the southbound lanes of the freeway at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
