OLYMPIA, Wash. – On the heels of the termination of Cooke Aquaculture’s Cypress Island Atlantic salmon net pen lease, Washington State Commissioner of Public Lands Hilary Franz has now released inspection results of Cooke’s Rich Passage and Hope Island facilities.
Franz says she the ordered inspections after the August 19th failure at Cypress and the D-N-R will review the data and recommend next steps. L
