SEATTLE, Wash. — The state’s minimum wage workers will see a small increase starting January 1st.
The minimum will increase 19 cents to $13.69 per hour except for SeaTac and Seattle, which each set their own minimum wages.
KING-5 reports that it will also affect wages paid to some salaried employees exempt from overtime.
Starting in 2021, the minimum specified amount to remain overtime exempt will increase based on the number of employees at a business.
And in Seattle, drivers for Lyft and Uber will earn minimum wage starting in January.
