FERNDALE, Wash. – Before it gets too cold, we’ve got strong winds coming our way.
The National Weather Service has a Wind Advisory in effect for Whatcom County from 11:00 Thursday morning through noon Friday.
Winds are expected to reach 20-35 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph possible.
The hardest hit areas will be Ferndale and Lynden, as well as coastal areas including Birch Bay, Lummi Island and Sandy Point.
