LYNDEN, Wash. — Four students have tested positive for COVID-19 at Lynden Middle School.
The school sent a notice to parents that the four received positive test results over the weekend after being tested last week.
Three of the students are in 6th grade and the fourth in 7th grade.
The school said they do not believe students whose family has not been notified were exposed or had close contact with someone who is infected.
Those who tested positive will not be able to return to school until their contagious period has passed, and close contacts will be quarantined for 14 days from their date of exposure.
