OLYMPIA, Wash. — A recent study compared more than 700 community colleges nationwide and from that, it was determined Washington had the best community college system.
WalletHub ranked Pierce College in Puyallup the highest in the state and 5th overall.
Washington has 7 community colleges on the list, which is far fewer than California’s 77, but all of ours are in the top 200.
Rankings were determined for each school based on three categories including education outcomes, career outcomes and cost and financing.
No local colleges made the list.
