OLYMPIA, Wash. – They’ve been controversial, but a study finds the measures Washington has taken to battle the coronavirus have been successful

Customer service company Sykes.com found that Washington ranks third best among the 50 states in fighting COVID-19.

Spokesperson A.J. Hanna says our state performed will in all metrics including case and positivity rates, hospital admissions and vaccine distribution.

Hawaii topped the rankings while Kentucky’s response was least effective.

Data was taken from public records available through weekly COVID-19 State Profile Reports and the CDC’s COVID Data Tracker.
