BELLINGHAM, Wash. – A 24-foot-boat sank at Squalicum Harbor Wednesday night and salvage crews pulled it out of the water Thursday.
The Bellingham Herald reports a salvage company pumped water out of the boat and used inflatable bladders to raise it to the surface.
The cause of the sinking is being investigated, but a harbor spokesman says it’s important for boat owners to check their boats often during the winter months.
