TACOMA, Wash. — If you’re a fan of the Super Troopers series, get ready for the mustaches behind the comedy to put Tacoma in the spotlight.

KIRO reports the 10-episode comedy “Tacoma FD” portrays fictional firefighters who have a lot of down time because all the rain makes the “fires go out before they get to them.”

The show was created by and stars Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme and follows the fire department’s crew pulling pranks on each other and otherwise silly hijinks.

The half-hour sitcom premieres March 28 on the TruTV network.
