LYNDEN, Wash. — An Anacortes woman is collecting donations to replace care packages that were stolen from the Lynden VFW post earlier this month.
KOMO reports Hollie Brand appealed for donations on Facebook after hearing about the break-in at the post on November 3.
The care packages are for local military members who are deployed overseas.
A GoFundMe page has also been set up to help the post recoup financial losses from the break-in.
