WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. – A Whatcom County man has been arrested for a sexual assault that occurred in Birch Bay nearly a decade ago.
Court records state that a woman accused Joshua Duran of raping her in 2012.
While an initial investigation confirmed that Duran’s DNA matched the samples provided by the victim, police did not take him into custody until Thursday, September 2nd.
Duran is no stranger to the law.
He was previously convicted for several other crimes, including assault and burglary.
