FEERNDALE, Wash. – Ferndale Police were called to Washington Federal Bank in the 2000 block of Main Street Friday afternoon at 5:31 p.m. to respond to a robbery in progress.
In a news release, officers said a 5′-6″ young-looking Hispanic male wearing a blue or grey flannel shirt and a white Yankees baseball cap gave a bank teller a note demanding money.
The suspect then fled the bank with a small amount of cash and was last seen heading east on Main Street.
