BELLINGHAM, Wash. — A man suspected of viewing and sharing child pornography was arrested as he tried to flee into Canada from Whatcom County.
The Bellingham Police Department says Homeland Security Investigators in Blaine turned up evidence that Iain Patrick Pollock’s computer was being used to share child pornography.
They served a search warrant in March and found an external drive that contained child pornography, and Pollock admitted to being in possession of thousands of images.
He was caught attempting to cross the border Wednesday and authorities believe he intended to flee from Canada to his native England.
