ARLINGTON, Wash. – A suspected DUI crash led to a fatality and snarled traffic on I-5 in Arlington last night, Tuesday, February 8th.
The State Patrol has not released the name of the deceased driver, but they say he was a 45-year-old man from Arlington.
Trooper Jacob Kennett says the Collison involved three vehicles and the driver who caused the accident is currently in custody.
Two disabled cars were on the northbound shoulder, with the drivers outside, when they were struck by the third vehicle.
Two other people, including the suspected DUI driver, were transported to Providence Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing.
