TACOMA, WASH. (AP) – The city of Tacoma is considering suing the manufacturers of opioids in its fight against homelessness.

The Mayor Marilyn Strickland says she wants to hold opioid makers accountable.

In January, Everett sued the maker of OxyContin, seeking to hold it accountable for damages to the community.

The company asked a judge to throw out the lawsuit.
