TACOMA, Wash. — School is delayed for Pierce County students as Tacoma teachers begin a strike.
KING 5 reports the Tacoma Education Association announced Wednesday that no tentative agreement had been reached with the district.
More than 2,000 Tacoma Public School teachers, or 93% of the TEA, voted in favor of the strike Tuesday.
The Tacoma School Board voted to close schools until the strike is over.
