BELLINGHAM, Wash. — The Task Force meant to help guide the re-opening of our local economy begins to take shape this week.
Whatcom County Health Department spokesperson Melissa Morin says the County Council, acting as the Board of Health, is expected to authorize the formation of the Task Force at today’s meeting.
The Public Health Advisory Board will meet later this week to select the members.
More than 160 people have applied to serve on the Task Force, and the Advisory Board has been considering the applications since last Thursday’s deadline.
