MOUNT VERNON, Wash. – A mentally ill teen released from a Skagit County mental hospital against his family and case workers’ wishes is still missing one week later.
On a Facebook page set up for 18-year-old Austin Timpe, his family says he is diagnosed as a non-violent schizophrenic and is likely disoriented and desperate.
He was last seen on a bus going south from Mount Vernon to at least Everett.
Timpe is 5’9″, 185 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.
The teen has no ID, money or phone.
