ARLINGTON, Wash. — The teen who set off a pipe bomb at Arlington High School said he wanted to cause “mayhem and disorder,” and did not want to hurt anyone.

According to charging documents, the teen said he had been bullied, had broken up with his girlfriend over the summer and had previously thought of bringing knives and throwing stars to school to stab other students.

The Everett Herald reports the teen claimed he didn’t make any more bombs, but a pipe bomb and a soccer ball packed with fireworks were found after police got a search warrant for his house.
