The Bellingham Roller Betties continue Season 11 with their Semi-final bout on Saturday, April 21 at 5:00 PM at the Pavilion on the campus of Whatcom Community College.
The evening features a doubleheader with home Team F.L.A.S.H. battling it out against the Dockyard Derby Dames from Tacoma, Washington followed by the home-team semi-final bout between Tough Love and The Cog Blockers.
Team F.L.A.S.H secured their spot in Finals when they won their bout against Tough Love on April 21. This game against The Dockyard Derby Dames will be a challenge for Team F.L.A.S.H and give them the opportunity to work on their game strategy leading into the June 2 home championship game.
The big battle of the night will be between The Cog Blockers and Tough Love, currently ranked second and third in the league respectively. This will be the 2nd match up between these two teams this season. The Cog Blockers had a win against Tough Love in their first match-up, but are playing against a slightly different team in the semi-finals. Tough Love had a number of injuries early in the season, and those skaters have returned to the rink and plan to skate in Semi-Finals.
The winner of this game will bout against Team F.L.A.S.H in the Finals on Saturday, June 2.
The Bellingham Roller Betties have a Merchandise Booth, Snack Bar and Beer & Wine Garden at all of their bouts at Whatcom Community College. Most extras are cash only, so come prepared. There is 21+ and Family Seating options in the stands. There will also be a food truck outside for those looking for dinner options.
